Fun with 4ms and Delptronics....

Demo of Delptronics LDB1e drum sounds.

The LDB1e is being triggered by the 4ms SCM+RCD modules, and I routed one of the Main Outs to a Wiard Boogie Filter, both modules outputs recorded on 2 separate tracks in Ableton.
Tracks are layered, and I added some reverb in Live courtesy of Audio Damage EOS.

Drums recorded into Focusrite Octopre mkII with mild compression settings. (The knob was set at 3 o'clock to catch any crazy transients from 4ms chaos).

Delptronics Modular Session B (Video)

All Percussion provided by:  Delptronics LDB-1e w/Expansion for individual outs, Delptronics Thunderclap

Noises courtesy of the following units ( modded for use with the Bender Sequencer): Bleep Labs Pico Paso, MFOS WSG, Korg Monotribe

IR Chain (all the green modules with blinky lights)= Wooster Audio Midi-IR2 + Space Baby, Delptronics  Bender Sequencer x2,  Delptronics Ring Mod (This is the first kit I ever built, and it's not pretty, but you can hear what the effect sounds like, this unit is also available in Eurorack form now).

As the expansion provides individual outs and an additional main out (corresponding to the level pots), there is tons of routing options for the drums.  I choose one main out as my Dry bus, then routed the other main to 2 separate FX buses in the modular, and one signal to the Ringmod and layered it up...

Video footage from the "Late Night Acid Jam w/Rich."

Finally cut up some footage from the "Late Night Acid Jam Session with Rich." This is a rough edit of 6 minutes of jam time with some eye candy thrown in.  As his was a last minute ordeal, we just used my Camera for both Audio and Video.  So room noise, Levels are off, mistakes are made, etc. so please watch your speakers and ears!

Batteries.Not.Included.Jam-5.6.12

Another snippet of me jamming in the Basement with the Delptronics Bender Sequencer. This time it is controlling the Gakken SX-150 MKII, All Master Clock duties provided courtesy of Wooster Audio's MIDI-IR 2, sending midi clock to the Monotribe (modded), in turn daisy chained to the MFB-503, and also sending IR sync to the Bender Sequncer.

Batteries.Not.Included_5.4.12

Late night session with the Delptronics Bender Sequencer and a Gakken SX-150 MKII (both audio and video was recorded with my phone, so the quality is not the best).

After reading Mickey's article on Sequencing the Gakken SX-150, I was inspired to follow suite and install a pitch resistor jack in a Gakken Synth  as well.  I ended up finding a good deal at the Men's Gangu eBay Store, shipped straight from Nippon (fast shipping and good service, btw). I followed the article and installed the jack with no problems, and then did this test session.

In the video:  Delptronics Bender Sequencer controlling the Gakken SX-150, which is routed in series through the Mtron+Delay, while the Duo feeds it's input jack.
All Master Clock duties handled are provided courtesy of  Wooster Audio's MIDI-IR 2, sending sync via  midi clock to the Monotribe, and also to the Bender Sequncer via IR sync (you gotta love Austin).
